That's why we've forged a meaningful partnership with ProAmpac to craft the packaging for our Miracle-Gro® Organic All Natural Mulch.
ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging, is at the forefront of providing creative and sustainable packaging solutions. Their ProActive Sustainability approach underscores their commitment to helping partners achieve their environmental goals through innovative and responsible practices.
One of the key materials consistently championed by ProAmpac is PCR (post-consumer recycled) content. PCR content breathes new life into used items, lessening the reliance on new materials for packaging. Materials such as plastic bags, stretch film, and various other consumer products are thoughtfully collected, meticulously sorted, and skillfully processed to give rise to sustainable product packaging. This ingenious process not only reduces the demand for newly manufactured plastics but also plays a vital role in minimizing waste that might otherwise find its way into landfills.
ProAmpac's ProActive PCR approach enables the integration of varying levels of post-consumer recycled content into laminated and mono-material constructions. These materials undergo a transformative journey, being converted into brand new plastic pellets, which form an integral part of our packaging.
