DESCRIPTION
Succulents are easy to maintain, but they still need a great potting mix to thrive. Miracle-Gro Succulent Potting Mix is specially formulated for succulents and made with Miracle-Gro® plant food for premium nutrition. This fasting-draining mix contains a blend of sphagnum peat moss, processed forest products, and plant food to help support your succulent's needs. Use this potting medium with indoor succulent plants, including aloe vera, cacti, echeverias, houseleek, burro's tail and more. To apply, select a pot with a drainage hole. Fill the pot 1/3 full of potting mix. Loosen your plant's root ball and place the plant in the pot. Add more mix and press lightly. Water and let the mix drain. For best results, begin feeding your plants with Miracle-Gro® Succulent Plant Food 30 days after planting. One 4 qt. bag of Miracle-Gro® Succulent Potting Mix fills one 8-inch container (amounts may vary based on the size of the root ball).
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
- Fill a pot with a drain hole about 1/3 full with Miracle-Gro® Succulent Potting Mix.
- Loosen the root ball, then place the plant into the pot.
- Add more of the potting mix. When the pot is full, press down lightly on the top of the soil.
- Water the newly planted succulent (let the pot drain).

- This potting mix is not intended to be used when planting in-ground.

Great! Definitely wins with succulents hands down
I used this when I first started succulents. Then I went to the miracle grow for cactus and palm. I have since gone back to the succulent mix because my plants in that mix are so happy and colorful. I swear by the succulent mix for your succulents. I could see a different in mine within a couple of days. Currently starting a cutting of a jade tree so really excited to see how that works.

Perfect for succulents
Perfect texture and drainage that allows my succulents to thrive!
I lost many of my succulents during the Texas snowstorm of 2021 and only had a few cuttings I was able to salvage. They are now thriving in this new potting soil specifically for them. They have done better this season than any prior.

Perfect for Succulents!
This soil is excellent for my succulents . It is light and airy and it drains really quickly. I love that it also contains Miracle-Gro plant food for the health of my plants . It is made with sphagnum peat moss . The 4 quart bag will fill up one 8” container.
